San Juan River Pictures

River running is one of my favorite pastimes. My family gets permits for multi-day trips about every other year. Usually, we run different sections of the Green River (Lodore Canyon, Split Mountain, and Desolation Canyon) which runs generally NE to SW through an area near the UT, CO, WY triple junction. In June 2005 we got to try something new when a large group of family and friends took a trip down the San Juan River in SE Utah.
